Welcome to Dave Frost's Canvey Island and Triumph Spitfire Restoration Links Page
Thanks for stopping by. I've put this page in because all of the following links will take you somewhere that has been either entertaining in the extreme, or otherwise useful to me personally at some point over the last few years. I hope that they're also relevant to you or your visit here in some way, and that you also find them useful. If you have somewhere that you would like to see listed here, please drop me a line and let me know. I'm all for a bit of reciprocal linkage especially if it's Triumph relaed, Canvey related, or otherwise entertaining. I don't charge for listing you here (be fair there wouldn't be a great deal of point for the traffic generated) but would love your feedback...
- Spitbitz - Any part imaginable, well priced and delivered anywhere. (It's worth mentioning that you can also ring these guys up for a chat about spits in general. Their site has some extremely good links to loads of Spitfire related sites).
- Literally, everything you ever needed to know about Triumph Spitfire 1500's (Simply the best non-commercial, non-club related spitfire site I've found. Eric and Jacob are both entertaining nutters, in an enthusiastic kind of way, and what they haven't mentioned on this site, probably isn't worth the bandwith).
- The South East's best Fishing superstore My newly discovered source for all things fishing - They're all fishing nutters, and if you're within an hours drive then get down and visit in person rather than use the website. Quite literally, if they don't sell it, then you don't need it, and there's always a special offer on.
- TheFrosties.co.uk This is a blatant attempt at self-promotion. Yuo may have guessed that this is another one of my domains, which I've recently moved to a new host and started working on. There isn't a great deal there at the moment, but it is under development and may have some useful content one day. Feel free to visit, sign up as a member and start your own blog.......
- The Photography Forum of Choice - Talkphotography.co.uk This place is great - As well as showcasing their best or favourite pictures, the guys and girls here are more than happy to offer advice assistance or critiques of your photo's, technique or camera. Never felt as welcome as a newbie. Visit it, you won't regret it
- Some Random Stuff that we have to put up with at work You'll also know someone like this. The kind of person who's done everything better than you, had better experiences than you and generally annoys the crap out of you, you know the one, when you say I went out and had a few beers last night, they say I went out and got all my beer free last night, it was a cracking party then I met loads of A list celebrities and went home in the queens limo. Follow this link to see some of the more memoprable ones that we've documented
- Costright Auto Electrics Friendly and Professional Auto Electrician located in Leigh on Sea - Well presented, and tidy workshop. Seriously reasonable rates and mechanical repairs as well. If you need a radio fitted, your relays fixed or just a service, go and see these guys.

Lure fishing is one, which involves attaching an imitation of a fish to a wire trace (so when the Pike attacks the lure the line is not cut). One of the main aspects of lure fishing is the retrieve. It is important to vary your retrieve speed, sometimes stopping to let the lure sink down. Personally I think it2008-02-15T10:02:43.244ZThere are various pike fishing techniques that really depends on the type of water you are fishing. I really focus on lake fishing, and as the season for Pike Fishing draws closely I'm looking at the various techniques I use to my advantage in the coming months. Firstly, I need to mention "Dead-Baiting" which involves simply attaching a dead fish to a metal wire. There are two modes to this game ‘free play’ where you can play as long as you want, and ‘tournament’ where you progress through the lakes available getting money for your catch. With this money you can buy additional lures. Of course, this has been happening unintentionally ever since fly fishing has existed, but it is only recently that fly fishermen have actually targeted coarse fish. One side of this new method, is to use fry imitations to catch pike. Indeed there have been whole books2007-09-16T10:49:38.976Z
